ABOUT
- Once you’re a member of the Tuffy’s family, you’re a part of ours. We live and work here, too, and our customers feel less like clients – and more like neighbors and friends in our shared community. We’re also founders and owners of a doggie day care, AndaLeash, in South Tampa. Serving in the U.S. Navy prior to completing his degree at the University of Toledo, Andy rescued his favorite good boy and company namesake, Tuffy (who was more human than dog), while in Virginia Beach, Virginia. Then he connected with his lifelong love, Sam, in college. Andy and Sam have both always had an entrepreneurial mindset while putting people (and animals) first. Originally from Toledo, Ohio, they bring a Midwestern friendliness to the Florida state of mind. “We’re raising our family right beside yours, and every decision we make is to help ensure that you’re treated the way we would want to be treated,” Andy said. They’re soaking up all of the moments they can with their two young children, Molly and George. And, yes, they have a house full of rescues too – Wilson, Mila, and Ralph.
